The term "convicted" includes a guilty plea, a plea of nolo contendere or no contest, a deferred judgment or adjudication, and an adjudication of guilt or delinquency as a minor.

Convictions will not necessarily bar you from being a Student Leadership Council member. We will consider the number, nature, seriousness, and recency of the convictions in making our decision.

Due to the nature of Student Leadership Council and your representation of the school, inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Please review the Student Leadership Council handbook for code of conduct.  We reserve the right to dismiss any student as a council member for actions that may reflect poorly on the college or the group.

An interview may or may not be required but you will be notified by email when the application is approved.
