Hawkeye offers citizenship classes to individuals who have applied for U.S. citizenship or plan to apply in the next year. Classes are designed to help explain the naturalization process. Copies of the 100 questions that are asked on the citizenship test will be distributed in class.

How Do I Register for a Citizenship Class?
Citizenship classes are offered free to currently enrolled English Language Learning students. For those who are not currently enrolled in English Language Learning courses, visit Business and Community Education's catalog: Life & Leisure >> Personal Improvement for currently scheduled Citizenship classes.
You can register online or call 319-296-4290. If you would like, you can register for more than one session.
Cost for this class is $19.
The class must have a minimum of 5 students or it will be canceled.
