Regional Transportation Training Center

The Regional Transportation Training Center, located south of the main campus, is a training location for a variety of credit and continuing education driving courses.

The driving range features an open driving area, 26-foot wide road, inclines, and left and right turns.

The center's building houses classrooms, drive through truck bays, and has space for four virtual driving simulators.

Driver training is currently offered as continuing education driving courses, and short-term training.

  • Driver education courses will help improve your driving abilities using the Skid Monster, a specially equipped vehicle that simulates adverse driving conditions.
  • Moped and motorcycle safety courses, including the only 3-wheel motorcycle training course in the state of Iowa.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training
  • School or passenger bus license
  • Iowa Law Enforcement Academy
