They Call Me Q
The Library now has a copy of the DVD, They Call Me Q, a solo play written and performed by Qurrat Ann Kadwani available for check out. They Call Me Q is the story of a girl from Bombay growing up in the Bronx who gracefully seeks balance between the cultural pressures brought forth by her traditional parents and wanting acceptance into her new culture. This play speaks to the universal search for identity experienced by immigrants of all nationalities. The DVD may be found in the video section with call #: 305.906 K11 and may be checked out by students, staff or faculty members.
