Your Hawkeye Username and Password

Your username and password are the same for My Hawkeye, your Hawkeye email, the network, and Canvas.

Your Hawkeye Username

Your username is your legal firstname.lastname. Example: robert.doe

What's My Username?

Your Hawkeye Password

Have you logged in and set a password for My Hawkeye, your Hawkeye email, the network, or Canvas?

  • YES, I have logged in to My Hawkeye, my Hawkeye email, the network, or Canvas: Your My Hawkeye, Hawkeye email, network, and Canvas password is the same.

  • NO, I haven't logged into anything: Your initial password is your birthday in six digits. Example: January 4, 2002 = 010402. Once you are logged in you will need to change your password. Please choose a password you will remember.

Your password needs to be alpha-numeric (have letters and numbers), six or more characters, and it cannot be one of the last two passwords you've used.

Resetting Your Password

New Users

If this is your first time logging in, do not reset your password. Your password is your birthday in six digits. Example: January 4, 2002 = 010402.

Once you have logged in you will be prompted to change your password.

Returning Users (including students who have taken Hawkeye classes in high school)
