At Hawkeye Community College, it is our goal to help students be successful in our programs. This pre-admission exam will help determine student readiness to begin the Nursing curriculum and be utilized to provide advising.
The ATI TEAS test (Test of Essential Academic Skills), also referred to as the TEAS VI test, is a computerized multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science, and English and language usage. The objectives assessed on the ATI TEAS test are those which nurse educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.
Scores from other colleges will not be accepted. Please register for a date and time below to take your ATI TEAS test.

Registering for the ATI TEAS Test
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, registration for the TEAS test has been suspended until campus re-opens. Please contact your Academic Advisor or Success Specialist for more information.
If you have all of your prerequisite classes completed by May to program/admissions standards and if you pass the TEAS once it is deemed safe for us to resume testing, your file completion date will align as if you took the TEAS in April or May.
Pre-Nursing students will still need to complete the TEAS test to move to the waitlist/eligibility list for the Nursing program.
Continue to prep and study so you will do well when you take the TEAS test.
