At Hawkeye Community College, it is our goal to help students be successful in our programs. This pre-admission exam will help determine student readiness to begin the Nursing curriculum and be utilized to provide advising.
The ATI TEAS test (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a computerized multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science, and English and language usage. The objectives assessed on the ATI TEAS test are those which nurse educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.
Scores from other colleges will not be accepted.
