Worksite tours are an excellent way for students to get a first-hand look at local businesses and experience the careers available.
Students will have the opportunity to see a variety of careers available at the business and learn what education and training is required to achieve those careers. Students will also learn workplace skills including business etiquette, attire, and attendance. Counselors, contact your work-based learning coordinator to request a worksite tour for your school.
Business partners, you and your employees will share the day-to-day operations of the business and engage the students with questions and in conversation to help them explore the careers and workplace. To share your business and industry with students, contact a work-based learning coordinator.
