Graduate Spotlight - Kayley Renslow

Kayley Renslow always had a passion for the arts. Her sights set on becoming an art teacher, the North Tama graduate came to Hawkeye to complete her general education classes before transferring to a larger university.
“I thought that it would be a great opportunity for me to dip my toes in the water so to say,” she said.
Kayley was amazed by the opportunities at Hawkeye, from working with talented artists to showcasing her work in the annual art show.
“You get to actually collaborate a lot more with artists who really care about what they’re creating in the setting,” she said. “I found everything I wanted from an art class I got at Hawkeye."
