Day 1: Leave USA
Day 2: Arrive in Uganda
Day 3: Kampala City tour, traditional market visit
Day 4: Community training in Kampala, Vertical Microgarden farm demo
Day 5: Travel to Kasese, farm tour
Day 6: Safari in Queen Elizabeth’s National Park
Day 7: Salt mine tour, & visit Kazinga Channel
Day 8: Community training in Kasese, visit women’s group
Day 9: Travel to Kigali National Park and return to Kampala
Day 10: Explore the Royal Tombs, visit National Agricultural Research Organization
Day 11: Leave Uganda
Day 12: Arrive in USA
Cost
The cost for the Uganda Study Abroad trip is $3,260. This includes: In-country transportation, meals, accommodations, entrance fees, and travel insurance.
In addition, travelers will need approximately $1,200 for the following: passport, visa to Uganda ($50), tuition, travel vaccinations, and airfare.
