Anna Laneville is an Assistant Professor in the English and Communication Department. She earned her Master of Arts in English in 2010 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, where her research focused specifically on best practices for engaging the community college writing student. Anna has served at community colleges in Minnesota and Iowa since 2009 as a tutor, academic advisor, and as a faculty member. Her interests include policies and practices that help students persist to achieve their goals, specifically eliminating barriers for students by promoting the use of Open Educational Resources (OER).
