The Covid 19 Pandemic has ravaged the population of the world in a manner like no other event in our lifetime. Once again, healthcare professionals have proven themselves worthy of hero status in the eyes of the public, and rightfully so; But at what cost to them and to the patients they care for? The purpose of this course is to reflect on the events surrounding patient care during the Covid 19 Pandemic that potentially may have caused frontline caregivers to be mentally and/or emotionally impacted.  This course will review the signs, symptoms, and self-help exercises associated with anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress, and professional burnout which could persist long after the pandemic has ended. The effects on the care delivered and patient outcomes will also be considered.

Pre-registration required.
