Web Development Club

The Web Development Club is made up of students who are interested in the Web Programming and Development program at Hawkeye. We work on projects to help build on the skills you learn in the program.

Here are some of the things we’re working on:

  • A web-based game designed to help our programmers sharpen their CSS skills.
  • Creating a web app together
  • Social events to meet other students
  • Exploring topics related to web development but outside the program

We recently wrapped up our project sqlmysteries.com, an interactive, web-based game that helps users improve their SQL skills by solving crime-themed puzzles using real data queries. It’s a fun and engaging way to practice SQL while working through a mystery.

Meetings — Spring 2025

The Web Development Club meets every Tuesday at 4:15 PM in Black Hawk Hall 135.
