ETC: Art and Literary Magazine

A Celebration of Student Art, Writing, and Expression

This year’s ETC Art and Literary Magazine celebrates the creativity, voices, and perspectives of Hawkeye students from across campus.

Building on past editions that featured more than 60 pages of photography, paintings, poems, short stories, drawings, and digital design, this year's magazine invites you to submit any creative work you're proud of—every piece will be considered.

A special section will highlight works inspired by They Called Us Enemy by George Takei, connecting student creativity to the Hawkeye Reads experience and exploring themes of identity, justice, and resilience.

The second section is wide open, giving you the freedom to express yourself in whatever form your creativity takes.

Through art and literature, the ETC Magazine aims to inspire, build community, and support your individual growth—ethically, personally, and creatively.
