Attend Your Classes to Receive Financial Aid

Your instructors report attendance after the first 14 days of a 16-week course or the first 7 days of a shorter course. If you haven't been going to class, you will be marked not attending. This can affect your financial aid.

If you haven't been going to class but want to start attending, you'll need to talk to your instructors. They can help you figure out if you can catch up on the work you missed.

If you and your instructor decide that you can't catch up on missed work, you should talk to your academic advisor to figure out the best way to officially withdraw from the course.

Withdrawing from a course can affect your financial aid and may result in paying back funds you've already received.

If you and your instructor decide that you can continue in the class and you'd like your attendance status updated, your instructor will take care of making that change.

If you're receiving financial aid, reach out to the Financial Aid office so they can review your situation.
