Senior Companions

We support senior citizens by assisting them with daily tasks and providing companionship in their homes. Through dedication and service, Senior Companions allow other seniors to continue to live independently.

We employ up to 83 men and women who provide companion services to 250 senior citizens in Black Hawk, Buchanan, and Bremer counties.

Eligibility Requirements

To become a Senior Companion, you must be:

• 55 years of age or older
• meet income eligibility guidelines
