The CLEP (College Level Examination Program) offers a wide range of college level exams through which a student may receive college credit. If you have acquired knowledge through experience or prior academic learning that may be equivalent to college level courses, Hawkeye offers the opportunity to get credit for that knowledge.
CLEP is administered on the computer. This efficient delivery system provides immediate test results for all subjects except any essay components. Each exam begins with a tutorial to demonstrate the ease of test taking.
Educational Testing Service (ETS) has developed the CLEP Sampler as an aid for computer-based testing. The sampler contains a tutorial with sample questions to help candidates navigate through an exam and prepare for the test date.
