The Financial Aid/Veterans Affairs Office provides assistance to students wishing to obtain VA education benefits, under the Montgomery GI Bill benefit programs and Federal and State Tuition Assistance programs for Guard and Reservists.
Our mission is to provide veterans; members of the National Guard, Reservists, and other eligible persons with due honor and with outstanding service in the processing of their education benefit programs and other supportive services.
Please be aware that GI Bill Education benefits and any Tuition Assistance received as a National Guard or Reservist benefit must be included in packaging your Financial Aid award. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the Financial Aid office at Hawkeye Community College.
