Financial Aid

Please check your Hawkeye email and SOAR account often. This is how we will communicate your financial aid information to you. Many items are time sensitive.

Photos of Veteran's Needed

Please submit your photo and service information of a veteran you know to the Financial Aid office by November 1, 2009. Please include information on your relation to them and where they are stationed if they are currently deployed.

The photos will be displayed on our Wall of Honor for Veteran's Day.

We will have a ceremony on November 11, 2009 at 12:15pm in the Brock Student Center.

Do you have a balence on your student account?

If have a balence with the Business Office and you need financial aid, please complete your FAFSA and contact our office immediately. If you have already applied, please check SOAR > My Documents to ensure all paperwork has been turned in.

Graduating at the end of the semester?

If you plan on graduating this December and have borrowed Direct Loans, you are required to attend an Exit Counseling Session. Watch your Hawkeye email for more information.

Hawkeye Scholarship Deadline

The deadline for Hawkeye Foundation Spring semester scholarships is November 1, 2009.

Responsible Borrowing Sessions

We will notify you if you need to attend a Responsible Borrowing Session via email and SOAR My Documents. View session dates.

Hawkeye Student Veterans

Join other Hawkeye students in developing a community of service members. Help discover resources and bring your suggestions on improving campus life for service members. We meet on a bi-monthly basis. Watch your Hawkeye email or contact the VA Certifying Official, Robin Knight at rknight@hawkeyecollege.edu for more information.
