This course is an investigation of the social and legal definitions of juvenile delinquency and causes. It also focuses on the administration of juvenile court, probation, parole and assessment of present and potential prevention programs. You will examine how the components of the criminal justice system interact with the juvenile justice system.

Textbook required is Delinquency in Society 6th edition by Robert M. Regoli and John D. Hewitt.
