History of the Criminal Justice Club:
The Criminal Justice Club at Hawkeye Community College was established during the Fall semester of 1998 and formally recognized November 12, 1998. The original members (academic year of 1998-99) of the club are recognized as charter members and are accorded all membership privileges.
Activities the Criminal Justice Club was involved with during the school year 1998-99:
The Criminal Justice Club has been involved with: bake sales; Operation I.D.; Toys for
Tots and Spring Splurge 1999.
The
Criminal Justice Club, also, sponsored a professional seminar entitled "Casualties
and Death Investigation:Medicine and Public Service" the seminar was conducted
by Dr. Dennis I. Mallory, Chief Medical Examiner for Tama County.

Activities the criminal Justice Club is involved with this school year 1999-2000:
On Sunday, December 12, 1999 members of the Criminal Justice Club volunteered to work at the Community Gift of Lights. The club thanks Mr. Mike Tripolino for helping out that evening.
