Collision Repair & Refinishing

Tool List

Please note: The following list is required for students in the program.  The items on the list are a result of input from the program's

advisory committee, students' input, and faculty recommendations.  Please DO NOT purchase tools in advance because Hawkeye

Community College has periodic 'Tool Days' in which name brand vendors offer these tools at great discounts (up to 60%).

The rationale for the list is that the tools listed below are essential when starting a career in the collision repair and refinishing field.
