Today's world of agriculture offers dynamic new career opportunities! Choose one of our 5 agriculture, natural resources, or horticulture programs and get hands-on experience on a 300-acre working farm utilizing the latest technology. We also have a turf grass laboratory, greenhouses, native wildflower and natural resource habitat living laboratories.

At Hawkeye Community College you'll learn from faculty members who have a passion for teaching. Your studies will include extensive hands-on laboratory work, educational fieldtrips and an internship with a supportive business.

Most of our programs offer an associate of applied science degree.  Many of our degree programs can be transferred to a four-year college or university. No matter whether you are looking for a 2 year degree or to start your path to a 4 year degree in the areas of agriculture, natural resources management or horticulture, Hawkeye Community College has a degree for you!
