Special Notice:
Hawkeye Community College has been awarded a U.S. Department of Education Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) Grant that will allow the college to offer additional financial assistance to students. This grant provides funding for child care services for parents to help them in retention and graduation at Hawkeye Community College. Students must be Pell eligible. CCAMPIS Grant is on a first come first served basis.

CCAMPIS Grant Services includes:

Study Time
Computer Lab
Tutoring
Academic Support
Advising/Counseling
Class Projects
Emergency Care
Library Time
Etc.

Qualifying CCAMPIS Students child care fees responsibilities as listed:
	Daily Full Time (Over 5 hours): $5.00
	Daily Part Time (1-5 hours): $3.00
	*Hourly-Up to 3 Hours: $1.00
*$1.00 total for the first three hours and any additional hours after three hours is additional $1.00 per hour up to $5.00 maximum.

The Child Development Center offers Hawkeye students and staff a safe, healthy, and caring environment with educational experiences for their children.

The center provides a variety of individual and group activities to stimulate social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development while guiding the children to self direction, independence, and self control.

NAEYC Accreditation
The center is accredited by the National Association for Education of Young Children. State of Iowa recognizes Hawkeye Child Development Center as a Gold Seal Quality Child Care Provider in recognition of our national accreditation an our commitment to providing quality child care.

State Licensed
Our child care facility complies by the State of Iowa Department of Human Services and Health Department standards and the Waterloo Fire Department.

Hours of Operation: 7:30AM-5PM Monday-Friday

Ages Served: 18 months - 5 years old

Cost and Care: Registration fee of $20.00 per family is required per academic year. One semester registration fee is $10.00 per family.
