Academic Suspension

You have been placed on academic suspension because your cumulative grade point average (CGPA) and your semester grade point average were below 2.00.

To appeal your suspension please contact Academic Affairs located in the Hawkeye Center - Upper Level, 319-296-4015.

To be readmitted from suspension please contact the Admissions Office located in the Hawkeye Center – Lower Level, 319 296-4000.

Yes You Can Seminar

Yes You Can is a mandatory seminar that students are required to complete if appealing an Academic Suspension and/or Financial Aid Suspension.

There are three ways you can attend this seminar.

  1. Live. All sessions are held in Tama Hall Rm 107A. Dates available:
    • Thur, Jan 7, 2010 - 1:30-3:30pm
    • Fri, Jan 8, 2010 - 10:00 - Noon
    • Wed, Jan 13, 2010 - 1:00-3:00pm

  2. Online. You can view the Yes You Can Seminar video online.

  3. At the Library. Please sure to allow at least an hour and a half before the library closes to view the video.
