Taught by members of the Waterloo Sail and Power Squadron, participants will learn boat safety, rules of the waterway, and required boating equipment and its use. Iowa boating regulations are included. Course is recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard, DNR, all 50 states, and Canada. Certificates are presented to successful completers. There will be a $40 charge for the instruction manual and test, payable to the instructor the first night of class. Only one set of materials required per family. Additional tests are $10.
