Beginning Welding

This course is designed for the beginning welder. Topics include power sources for TIG welding, types of electrodes and filler metal, shielding glasses and techniques. 10 weeks.

Protective equipment required: blue denim jeans and long sleeve shirt-NO FLANNEL SHIRTS OR CARHARTS, welder's cap, welding gloves, Z-87 safety glasses. leather high-top work boots, and leather cap sleeve. Students must selct MIG, TIG or Stick when registering.
