I have worked for 29 years in industry. I have spent the majority of my time working in Skilled Trades, earning a Journeyman's card as a Machine Maintenance Repairman and then graduated from a 4 year Electrical Apprenticeship to earn Journeyman's status as an Electrician as well. Technical training for my Electrical Apprenticeship was through Hawkeye Community College. The last 3 1/2 years of my career in industry, was spent in the Training and Development area as an Apprentice Training Coordinator, providing training for apprentices as well as Skilled Trades training. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Technology degree and a Master's degree in Industrial Technology. Since 2001 I have worked at Hawkeye Community College as a Program Manager. Safety and Quality are the two main areas of training that I help to provide to business and industry.
