What are EMC2 and EHC2?
EMC2 and EHC2 are programs for high school students that
allow them to earn credits before graduating from high school. The EMC2 program
focuses on careers in manufacturing and metalworking while the EHC2 program
focuses on health careers.
EMC2 and EHC2 allow students to:
. Get a jumpstart on secondary education and saving money
. Participate in internships during 2 summers.
. Receive $600 in educational stipends
. Earn money and credits during the school year through internships
. Combines specific high school classes and hands-on training
. Job shadow to explore career options
. Make contacts with potential employers
. Apply the credits to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
. Earn money and set aside funds for continuing education costs
