American Management Association (AMA) Courses & Certificate

Hawkeye Community College's Cedar Falls Center for Business and Industry, in partnership with American Management Association, offers several courses. The courses are designed to develop management, leadership, and supervisory skills. Anyone who completes six of the courses will earn the American Management Certificate. These courses are offered in three ways:

1. Hawkeye Community College will customize and deliver any of the courses for a business or company. The classes can be held at the business or at the Cedar Falls Center for Business and Industry. Each participant will receive their own AMA text.
2. Hawkeye Community College offers courses to the general public, mostly in the evenings. If you would like to be added to a waiting list for a specific course, please contact Carol at 319-296-4244 or csteckelberg@hawkeyecollege.edu.
3. An individual may enroll in an AMA course through correspondence study. The courses that are offered in this manner are $184 each. This cost includes the cost of the AMA text.

The courses are offered as continuing education courses or you can earn one college credit from Hawkeye Community College.
