Hawkeye Community College is governed by a nine-member board of trustees, who are elected to three-year terms by voters in the district in which they reside.
The Board of Trustees meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Hawkeye Center Board Room except for December. The December meeting is held the same evening as graduation.
