As I look back on our 40-year history, I can't help but marvel at the changes that have taken place at Hawkeye. From a small campus with just 227 students in 1966, to today's enrollment of more than 5,300 students taking courses from a variety of locations in Northeast Iowa.
While many changes have taken place at Hawkeye since it was founded four decades ago, the mission of the College hasn't changed. Hawkeye Community College remains firmly committed to offering all students an affordable, quality college education - regardless of their financial means.
