Dental Clinic
The Dental Clinic at Hawkeye, a supervised learning facility, is located on Hawkeye's Main Campus in Grundy Hall, lower level. The care in the clinic is given by students in the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs at Hawkeye. Professional faculty assess the procedures to ensure quality. A supervising dentist also provides screening exams to ensure that you will be able to get comprehensive care through your family dentist. The Dental Clinic is open to the public and will take care of your preventative dental health needs and limited restorative care. We provide: - oral health screenings

In the Spring Semester area dentists give limited restorative care for fillings to provide learning experiences for the dental assisting students. HoursCostTreatments at Hawkeye's Dental Clinic are offered at a low cost to you, however, your appointment may take longer than a typical visit to your local dentist office. The one-time flat rate is: - $30 for adults
- $15 for children up to 11 years old
Treatment costs in the restorative clinic vary according to the treatment plan, but remain low cost. Spring Semester SpecialIn February, college students can take advantage of our half-off special. Just bring your college ID to your appointment. Benefits - our services are cost effective

You leave with a smile! Treatments at Hawkeye's Dental Clinic may take longer than a typical visit to your local dentist office. Please plan for multiple appointments of varying lengths, typically the first appointment is three hours. Your x-rays at Hawkeye are done electronically making it easy to transfer your x-rays to your primary dentist upon your written consent in keeping with HIPAA requirements. |
