Basic Computer Skills (8 Weeks) This class will teach you basic computer skills, including computer vocabulary, what is an Operating System, how to find items on your computer, how to use a mouse and keyboard, basic word processing and how to work with pictures and clip art. Internet and E-mail (8 Weeks) This class is designed to teach you internet-related skills, including typing in web page addresses, conducting searches on the internet, printing, learning how to email, and the skills needed to download files from the internet to your computer. Beyond the Basics - Microsoft Word and Excel (8 Weeks) This class will teach MS Word and MS Excel for 4 weeks each. We will start where be left off with the Basic class and continue to add new skills. Digital Memories with PowerPlay (6 Weeks) Learn to make a Digital Memory presentation by adding music, pictures, and animations to your pictures and take home a finished copy. Electives (2 Days) These classes give you lab time to practice your computer skills in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions on computer related issues, and learn a new or advanced skill each week.
