Personal Training and Group Fitness Policies
Guidelines for Trainers / Instructors
Personal training and group fitness classes on the Hawkeye premises is restricted to trainers and instructors hired by Hawkeye.
Any participant who is conducting or is suspected of conducting personal training or group fitness classes with members in the Health Education and Services Center facility and who is not a Health Education and Services Center employee will have membership privileges reviewed and/or revoked.
Guidelines for Trainees / Participants
All required forms must be completed, current, and on-file prior to each session/class. Forms may expire as indicated or as medical history or payment method changes.
Refund Policy
Once a group fitness class or personal training session or package is purchased, no refund will be given.
If you purchase a group fitness class or personal training and cannot finish the sessions due to health issues, you are eligible for a refund for unused sessions minus a $5 processing fee. You must provide documentation from your physician to receive this refund. This refund is based upon the approval from the Health Education and Services Center administration.
Expiration Policy
Personal training sessions expire three months from the date of purchase.
Cancellation Policy
You must notify your personal trainer at least two hours in advance of your scheduled session to cancel. You must also receive confirmation of cancellation from the trainer.
If you do not appear for a scheduled appointment or fail to give a two hour notice, you will be charged for the full session.
Please call if you are going to be more than five minutes late for a session. Personal trainers will only wait 15 minutes for late arrivals and your sessions will start from the time agreed upon.
