Campus Engagement. Community Building. Shared Belonging.
The Multicultural Student Organization (MSO) is a student-led group that brings together students from a variety of lived experiences and perspectives. Our mission is to create a welcoming campus where every student feels valued, respected, and included, no matter their identity or life journey.
We’re dedicated to creating a campus where students can have meaningful conversations, show respect for one another, and take part in activities that build understanding. By joining together, we can make your experience here even better and create a stronger, more connected campus community.
Membership
Membership is free and open to all Hawkeye students who want to make connections, get involved, and help create a more welcoming campus. Whether you want to learn, lead, or make a difference, the Multicultural Student Organization welcomes you!
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12 – 1 PM.
You’ll need to stay in good academic standing and keep up with your classes to remain a member.
