The Hawkeye Community College Public Relations and Marketing team won three Medallion Awards at the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 5 Conference, held October 8-10 in Kansas City.

The NCMPR Medallion Awards are the premier regional competition recognizing outstanding marketing and public relations achievements at the community and technical colleges within each of NCMPR's seven districts.

Hawkeye's Public Relations and Marketing team won the following awards:

  • Newsletter / Magazine (Small-Scale), Connect Magazine, Fall 2024 Edition, Gold

"These awards are a reflection of the creativity, collaboration, and dedication of our marketing and communications team," said Mary Pat Moore, executive director of Public Relations and Marketing at Hawkeye Community College. "We’re proud to share Hawkeye's story in ways that connect with our students, employees, and community — and it's an honor to have that work recognized by our peers across the region."
