Motorcycle Instructors Needed
Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others?
We are looking for individuals that are interesting in teaching others how to safely ride a motorcycle. Becoming a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoach is an incredible way to share your passion for riding. You'll help those new to riding learn how to ride safely and help current riders build and perfect their skills.
What qualifications are needed to becomes a Certified RiderCoach?
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a motorcycle license or endorsement.
- Have a good driving record.
- Have no criminal history.
- Ride a registered and insured motorcycle.
- Have good communication skills and a desire to help others.
- Complete a RiderCoach Preparation Course.
What does the RiderCoach Preparation Course entail?
New instructors are required to successfully complete a RiderCoach Preparation Course. This course will certify you to teach the MSF Basic RiderCourse, which is a learn-to-ride program for novice riders.
- Class meets Friday through Sunday for three consecutive weeks.
- New instructors pay the class fee to attend, but are reimbursed once they complete their class with a mentor.
- Class fee includes materials: RiderCoach Guide, Range Cards, Rider Handbook, and other RiderCoach Materials.
- Successful completion requires passing a basic skill test, knowledge test and student teaching a Basic RiderCourse.
