IGNITE: Introduction to Advanced Manufacturing

BEGIN A NEW CAREER FAST

Train for free in this seven-week, competency-based program that will introduce you to fundamental technical concepts and provide you with hands-on training in order to gain employment.

You’ll learn about smart automation, robotic programming, CNC programming, computer aided design (CAD), electrical circuits, pneumatics, manufacturing safety, basic math, and earn nine advanced manufacturing industry recognized credentials.

Starting Wages and Employment

Program completers will earn an opportunity to apply for a full-time position with an area employer offering starting wages between $17 – $19 per hour plus benefits.

Cost

Tuition costs are fully sponsored by grants and employer donations.

Eligibility 

To be considered the applicant must be:

  • 18 years of age
  • a high school graduate or equivalent
  • willing to attend evening orientation and class sessions
  • ready for a fast-paced career in advanced manufacturing

August 29 – October 14, 2022, Monday – Friday from 5:30 – 7:30pm.
