The Last-Dollar Scholarship helps eligible Iowa residents complete training for high-demand, high-wage jobs. The scholarship combines with other state and federal funds to fill the gap and covers up to 100 percent of tuition costs. Hawkeye Community College has 29 degree programs in healthcare, business, manufacturing, applied arts, and public service eligible for the Last-Dollar Scholarship. To apply, students must enroll in an eligible program and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
