All new work-study employees must complete an orientation session once they've been hired for a work-study position before they can start working.

Complete the Work-Study Orientation Review Quiz [pdf] and bring to the Financial Aid office.
- After all paperwork has been completed and submitted to Human Resources Services, each student will receive an email to their Hawkeye email account with complete instructions on how to complete mandatory OSHA training. The confirmation of completion will be electronically submitted.
In certain departments, supervisors may also require you to attend other types of training related to the job. As long as the training has been approved by the supervisor and the Financial Aid office, the training time can be counted as paid time on your Web Time Entry. This does not include travel time and transportation expenses.
