Spring 2021 Course List: This course list identifies face-to-face classes that will be delivered via Zoom at their scheduled days and times through March 19. All other courses will run as scheduled at their designated days, times, and locations.

Extended hours: Many offices are open 8:00am–6:00pm weekdays through January 22. Offices with extended hours include Student Services, Business Office, Financial Aid, and Admissions.

Hawkeye Scholarship Application

We will keep your application on file as long as you are attending Hawkeye and are consecutively registered for fall and spring semesters. You do not need to complete a new Hawkeye Scholarship application if you have been consecutively registered for fall and spring semesters.

Your Personal Statement

Include the following, if applicable, in your personal statement:

  1. Your academic and career goals.
  2. If you checked any of the "Other Criteria" in the section above include a description of how you meet the criteria.
  3. School and community involvement with an emphasis on active contributions to any club, association, or civic organization.
  4. Special recognitions and/or awards you have received.
  5. Leadership roles you have held.
  6. Volunteer or extra-curricular activities.
  7. Life and educational experiences that have motivated you or have demonstrated your ability to overcome obstacles and challenges successfully in order to continue your education.

Keep your essay to 1,000 words or less.

Scholarship selection is competitive. Be sure to review your personal statement carefully for sentence structure, capitalization, and punctuation. Your statement is used by the scholarship committee in determining the recipients of the scholarship awards.
