JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Help develop scope, goals and objectives for ERP BPR.
- Develops an action plan for ERP BPR including action plan organizational structure.
- Coordinates the evaluation of alternative ERP’s.
- Coordinates the review and evaluation of current business processes using selected ERP.
- Coordinates and schedules consultation with selected ERP vendor to align business processes with most efficient use of the ERP.
- Coordinates training of end users on re-engineered processes for most efficient use of the ERP.
- Assists with the development of documentation of re-engineered processes.
- Assists Communications and Information Systems department in developing College-wide standards and procedures for ERP customization and the use of ERP connected third party software.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4 years successful experience in Project Management or a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines, quickly diagnose problems, and provide clear resolution.
- Proven analytical and documentation skills.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Proven customer service skills with a commitment to providing quality service.
PREFERENCES:
- Bachelor’s degree in an information systems field.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience in post-secondary education environment.
- Experience supporting an ERP, preferably in Higher Education.
- Experience with Ellucian SIS software.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS:
***Temporary full-time position for the duration of the Business Process Re-Engineering effort with possibility of extension based on the business needs***

Working conditions: Requires skills for succeeding in an office environment, using technology. Requires good hand-eye coordination including visual acuity to use a keyboard and read technical information; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
Work is performed in an office setting. Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during working hours. During course of day, interact with student, faculty and staff in person, by telephone and computers.
