Job Summary
This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a credit course schedule. Focus on development of clear student programs of study in Liberal Arts and Career & Technical Education inclusive of time commitment involved from start to completion.
Essential Job Functions
Important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Updates and maintains complete credit classroom inventories within scheduling software and Ellucian (e.g. Building/Rooms).

Serves as point person for all course section building for each

Stays abreast of academic programs of study by attending Curriculum Committee meetings.

Examines current course offering schedules to determine efficiencies.
-
Designs course offering schedules that are efficient for students.
-
Prepares a master credit schedule working with deans and faculty that best serves students.

Distributes master schedule to deans.

Processes course offering changes.
-
Monitors enrollment in sections to improve efficiencies.

Reviews and distributes various reports with accuracy.

Prepares Go/No-Go documents of current course enrollment and communicate to Deans to determine status for sections in question.

Coordinate and execute communication protocol to faculty and appropriate staff course rebuilds occur within 10 days business days of semester via phone and email correspondence.

Assists with planning and coordinating the Hawkeye commencement ceremony.

Assists with registration of guest and concurrent students.

Responds to student emails and voicemails.

Assists with enrollment verifications

Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree and one-year related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to total 5 years.

Demonstrated strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills to positively interact with students, faculty, and staff.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, maintain customer confidence and protect operational integrity

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations staff, students, faculty, and the general public.

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite programs as well as ability to learn various other software systems (i.e.: Student System software).

Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to deadlines and perform a multitude of tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
Employment Status

Anticipated hours will be flexible including evenings.
Working Conditions
Requires good hand-eye coordination and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp. Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during working hours. During course of day, interact with students, faculty and staff in person.
