"Life is all about putting more 'tools' in your 'toolbox' to be successful. The more skills we can obtain just further grows us personally and professionally. I’m here to help students assemble those tools and grow those skills to be successful."

Hawkeye Community College has been a wonderful experience for myself personally. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals not only here on campus, but in the community as well.

I began my education at Hawkeye as a transfer student then completed my bachelor’s degree in physical education and exercise science and master’s degree in scientific basis of exercises at the University of Northern Iowa. In addition, I hold a variety of certifications, including ACE Fitness Certified Medical Exercise Specialist and Integrative Yoga Therapy RYT-200hr.
