Carol Luvert a Professor in the English and Communication Department. She earned her Master of Arts in English from the University of Northern Iowa and Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English also from UNI. In addition Carol has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Horticulture from Hawkeye Institute of Technology. Carol was a substitute teacher in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls Schools and started her full time teaching career at AIC/Hamilton before coming to Hawkeye Community College. She has been teaching at Hawkeye for 20 years. She has a passion for helping students learn to write.
