Rocky Peter is a songwriter who was raised in West Africa, Nigeria. Rocky’s journey is just as inspiring as his music. He was abandoned in a poor village when he was only two years old. When he was eight he was enslaved. He escaped from slavery, came to the United States, and educated himself. After college Rocky soon became homeless, but still made an effort to teach music to students. Throughout his obstacles, writing and composing music made him forget about his difficulties and influenced his decision to pursue music. Read Rocky Peter's bio.
