Goalball is a Paralympic sport that is played by athletes who are blind or visually impaired. All players will wear eyeshades during time of play so participants do not have to be visually impaired or blind to join the action.
Teams will be made up of six players, with three teammates playing at once. The object of the game is to throw a ball into the goal of the opposing team. For the sake of difficulty, we will be playing with a beep ball which will require athletes to listen for the ball versus see the ball. Additionally, players will be required to stay on their hands and knees to defend the goal.
