This program prepares students to be professional pharmacy technicians dedicated to quality pharmacy procedures. Graduates are equipped to assist the pharmacist filling prescriptions according to doctor's orders. Pharmacy Technicians also participate in ordering products and inventory control as well as billing and receiving payments. The course will be 112 hours in the classroom. You will be expected to put in another four plus hours a week for your online work. The course fee includes your textbook and certification exam approved by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
