Soil to Supper - Pesto, Zucchini, and Fennel

Join us in the garden for this unique blend of gardening and cooking combined into one class. We will spend time working in the garden each night and then bring our harvest into the kitchen. Participants will have time to learn to cook up healthy meals from fresh produce and will enjoy helping to create a dinner for all to share that evening. This evening will feature pesto, grilled zucchini and fennel, and a zucchini corn salsa as part of the evening meal. Other dishes will also be explored as part of the seasonal offerings. See what delights can be made by easy pickling process. Dessert will feature seasonal fruits.
