This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical power systems. Students who successfully complete the course should be able to select the correct lubricants for equipment; perform preventative maintenance inspections & tasks; use hand alignment tools to adjust and align; inspect and troubleshoot bearings, clutches,b belts, seals, coupling, gears, vari- drives, transfer pumps and other mechanical power systems. This class is part of the Industrial Maintenance program.
